All guests are welcome to join our us and our families for the festive kickoff to our wedding weekend -- the traditional Yoruba engagement ceremony. This family and child friendly event will include Yoruba traditional ceremony (learn more here), food, and dancing and will celebrate Kinsley's Yoruba heritage. In addition to our families and wedding guests, the event will be attended by members of the local Yoruba community.

**Note: Bring cash in small denominations ($1, $5) to "spray" Kinsley and Julia and come ready to dance**

The big day! Join us for our wedding ceremony, with dinner, dancing, and drinks to follow.

The ceremony will be outdoors on the roof deck overlooking Queen Anne hill and Fremont, dinner and dancing will be indoors, and we will have some fun surprises in store for the reception.

At the end of the event, there will likely be an informal after party at one of Fremont's many fun spots.

We will be gathering at one of our favorite Ballard breweries for a casual hang out to say farewell to all our guests and friends. Children are welcome and this enclosed, outdoor space has lawn games and plenty of room to run around.

We'll be providing food and drinks and hope you can stop by for a hug and chat.
